As people we already have our own ideas about what masculinity and femininity mean.
But what does it mean to be divinely feminine or divinely masculine?
To be divine means to come from God, the highest vibrating realm of existence.
What most people can agree upon is that we all come from a bigger something. Whether this is a singular entity or multiple entities we can conclude that it's a common belief that you are part of what created you.
Much like you are part of your parents, grandparents, ground, sky, and stars. This also means you are part god , part infinite universe, all you.
To most with any type of faith it is a blessing to have the spirit of your creator ( God ) inside yourself, like catching the holy spirit, providing mediumship, or intentional invocation.
In ancient times High priestesses would invoke the spirits of the gods within themselves to receive divine messages, even to this day people call upon their gods or goddess in the hopes that they too will “ catch a spirit”.
How to maintain relationships in the spiritual realm.
When I think of truly divine masculine and feminine energy I think about different Deities that are eternal beings composed of a unique balance of opposing energies.
The soul, our energy source, the cause of our sentience is also a balance of opposing energies. This can be found in each of our chakras (transformers of energy) , in our higher selves, and the layers of our soul.
Introductory guide to chakras .
To be divinely feminine or divinely masculine is to have a beautiful balance of both energies within yourself.
There are so many religions and cultures that touch on masculine and feminine energy, truly it's one of the things that connects us all.
For most of us this balance of masculine and feminine energy is not mathematical , there is no perfect ratio that would satisfy all of our different needs.
As expected this relationship will change and grow as we evolve.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Qi is a life energy source and has five main functions that will help you maintain the spiritual and physical body.
The teachings of Qi come from Nei Ching , the first medical book ever written and widely acknowledged.
FOUR TYPES OF QI
Parental Qi- Inherited from your ancestors and is believed to be stored in the kidneys
Pectoral Qi- The breath stores inside of your chest
Nutritional Qi- Deals with Yin energy and handles circulatory nutrition throughout the body
Defensive Qi- Made of Yang Energy and is what protects the body from illness
FIVE FUNCTIONS OF QI
Actuation Qi- needed for the body to grow and develop
Warming Qi- regulates and produces body heat
Defending Qi- defends the body against external elements
Containment Qi- Ensures that bodily fluids are kept in their proper places and are only released in necessary amounts
The teachings of Qi are fundamental to the acupuncture community , but is not limited to that practice. These traditional medical practices focus on preventative measures and the source of one's symptoms to resolve issues of the physical body.
It is even believed in ancient times that doctors were only paid when their patients were healthy; this is the opposite of modern western medicine where you can be denied a life saving surgery if you cannot cover the cost of said surgery.
24 HOUR BODY CLOCK OF QI
Among practitioners of Qi there is the belief that each hour of the day corresponds with specific areas of your body.
The time of day your physical symptoms manifest will help you identify the source of your pains.
There are also optimal times of the day for you to work on specific parts of your body to maximize the Qi flow.
You will find that the teachings of Qi are also found in the Tai-Chi community, which focuses on intentional movements to maximize energy flow.
This practice is the physical embodiment and harmony of co-existing opposing movements and energies.
Healing and identifying wounded areas of energy can look like a magnitude of things but working with your already existing energy sources is an amazing way to practically combine your spirituality and everyday life.
YIN AND YANG

This is where yin and yang come in as a tool to regulate Chi.
It is also important to understand that yin and yang do not exist outside of each other; they must be interdependent for balance.
On a personal note even if you can not agree with specific cultural teachings you can agree that we all have both masculine and feminine energy within us.
Every individual's balance of this masculine and feminine energy is unique and dependent on each person.
You will need both to be a harmonious and balanced soul, but only you can determine what that balance looks like.

Qualities of balanced Feminine Energy
The balanced divine feminine is in touch with their intuition.
There is no excessive overthinking and they can interpret messages from the universe with ease.
The divine feminine is like the eye of the tornado by embodying calmness through all of life's trials and tribulation.
With balanced feminine energy you exude confidence, because you take the time to nurture yourself in all ways and know exactly how to keep your mind at peace.
Ritual is a major facet of having divine feminine energy because your life all falls back onto the system you have created and maintained for yourself.
When you have balanced feminine energy your rituals exemplify the person you are and having these rituals always keeps you grounded and thankful.
If you have habits in your life that you would like to change, work on healing your feminine energy and develop rituals you can be proud of.

Qualities of Balanced Masculine Energy
Balanced divine masculine is very ambitious; they have big dreams and find excitement and structure following through on their plans of actions.
When you have this balanced masculine energy you are able to fulfill your responsibilities.
This means providing for yourself in all facets that you are capable of doing.
Regardless of the situation at hand you always put your best foot forward and have positive intentions. ( Positivity is relative)
To be balanced is also being willing to take risk, this doesn't mean acting on impulse but to use logic to determine risk to reward ratios and having the courage to gamble on yourself.
You will also be protective of the things that you care about like using spiritual wards to protect yourself from things and people that want to take your energy away from you, or even just using sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
The main idea is that you cherish the things you are grateful for in life and it is shown in your actions.
Almost every religion has a creation story that explains where our world and existence comes from.
This creation comes from the combination of the divine feminine and the divine masculine, structure and functionality; it is the mixture of feminine and masculine energy that creates and sustains all life.
